Got the splittage all worked out and all 6 vids should be live in the next 10 minutes.

Interesting stuff, thanks :) Ill remember to look at these when I start pulling my hair out next time. I particularly like the tips with the arms although even the thought of trying to set up ik with all those extra bones makes my head spin... does it still work kinda the same?

Thanks Carm. :)
You ought to put that stuff on Vfx Cast (http://www.vfxcast.com/) too. I think you can upload larger and longer videos there.

Of course. There must be... 50 ways to rig your model.

You just branch off the back, Jack.. Make a new hand, Sam
It's like building a toy Roy.. Just set your IK
Don't need to rush, Gus. It won't give too much fuss,
Just set your next key, Lee and get your guy rigged.

On second thought, maybe you should just download the attached scene file. I reversed the order of the pitch and header bones. And notice the ArmUpper_Twist bone that is not controlled by IK. It's handling the pole vectors.

Yeah people keep telling me that. :) I'll look into it. Eventually.

I just uploaded the first (http://www.vfxcast.com/media/8807/Foot_Rig_1_of_5/) of the Foot rig vids in VFXCast, but it looks like hell. It looks like hell after it had a night of heavy drug use. I'm not gonna upload any more if this is what to expect with VFXCast. :/

Don't spread the word too much. If everyone learns how to rig it'll get harder for me to find clients. :phone_cal

Yeah, that does look pretty bad. Way over-compressed and resized too, I suppose. What format and codec did they start out as before being converted to Vfx Cast's Flash, if you don't mind my asking?

Anyhow, I watched the rest of your You Tube vids - great stuff there. :)

AVI, Microsoft Video at 640x360

Thank you. :) I did put a few of them on Vimeo as well. Vimeo has better playback quality but they do shrink them down a bit.
