Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I've got an ordinary sphere (tesselated) with an image sphere mapped to the surface. The image is designed for mapping a sphere.

It's just an OpenGL thing, the render should be fine.

Hi frog,

I was hoping that was the case but a quick test render proved differently. Any thoughts out there on why this is happening? LW 9.6

Are you using spherical mapping or a UV map?
If you are using spherical mapping I'd suspect the texture to be wonky in that area.

ah...in that case, it's designed like that to tell you which side is supposed to face away from the camera :D
