Is there a way to morph and object (welded or unwelded) into the position of the UV coordinates? I need to flatten out the object into the UV shape. It can be done the other way round (create uvs from a flattened object), but can it be done the other way round?

In Node Editor, Vertex Map catalog you should find UV Map node. Blend UV output with XYZ position and you should get what you want.

Works, but you need to collapse the model before into the origin of the coordinate system! Thanks!!!
