View Full Version : Working with Camera View Backgroun and Preview

Hi

I`m working with BG sequence [camera footage of sky].

My first step is to prepare clear BG preview [models hidden]
Next, I`m saving this preview as uncompressed avi for any case.
Next, setting Camera View Background to Preview.
Now I can unhide my models.

Now when I`m scrubbig, my BG sequence works very fast with models on top of it.

BUT

Every move of time slider makes my models to disappear for a moment.
During playback it works fine, only scrubbing makes this problem.

It`s very annoying

Can i fix it somehow? Maybe with preview options??

try increasing your boundingbox threshold in the layout display settingspannel, this will ceep your objects from turning in to
boxes while scrubbing but it will be hard on your videocard.

btw, if you are using subpatch objects set there display-subpatchlevel in the obj-propertypannel to a lower number
this will help scrubbing aswell

I mean DISAPPEAR..not BOUNDING BOX.

check it for yourselve :)

Models disappears completely.

display options are not a solution for that.

oeps,
just tried loading a divx avi in the backdrop with an object in
front of it and it did not go away while scrobing.

I tried it [divx loaded in preview] on GeForce2Pro and Wildcat4210. Same results...object is disappearing during scrubbing...are u holding LMB down during scrub?

what is your graphic card?

hey were getting somewhere,
i'm using a single p3 at 300mh with a elsa1 card,so
it cant be your specs youre way ahed on that, should
i send you my scene too do a compapre?im holding
down lmb

i have a 117000 poly object in front the vieuw is set too 512
texture size, scrolling is slow but still nothing dissapears.not
even in fullscreen.
