View Full Version : New cameras render problem

I'm having a shadow problem with the new advanced cameras.
Imagine if you will a ball on a flat plane. The shadow cast should stretch from the balls base outwards at an angle with no gaps. However I am getting a half moon shape that doesn't stretch from the base.

If I use the classic camera there is no problem, the shadow is correct. Its just the advanced cameras that cause this strange shadow. Any ideas how to correct it?

Do you have any nonplanar polygons in there?

I've found the cure for the problem. I didn't create the model myself. It was kindly given to me by a friend. However I noticed last night that the bumps were not double sided in the surfaces menu. So I made them double sided, so everything is now OK on shadows.:)
