View Full Version : Freeze Normal Displacement to Geometry?

I've managed to apply a ripple to a long banner I'm making for a Cathedral scene.

After some clues in the Layout manual and a tutorial in Essential LW9 I got a result applying a Normal Displacement via the Object Properties/Deform tab.

All I'd like to do now is freeze this into this fairly detailed subD geometry, so that I can sculpt it a bit further, is this possible?

file/save transformed object.

Make sure your display subpatch is at the res that you want to save at...
