Trying to remember how to hide Luminious Polys from being seen thru the
Transparent Windows ???

69955

I have the Luminous polys "Unseen by Camera" How do I Hide them from the Other Reflective Surfaces..

69956

The Image shows the Lum Polys seen thru the window and the Reflective
floor you can see the Lum Poly Object for lighting the Interior...

Trying to remember how to hide the Luminous polys from the other surfaces...so they do not show up in the relections..

Any Advice ??? on how this is done ...

I u check unseen by rays then their ilumination cant penetrate the transparent polys...

why on earth would u want to use luminous polys to light a scene where the luminous polys are intended to be unseen... use lights.

Hmm..unseen by rays should work..it shouldnt go dark unless you have unseen by radiosity checked.. can you post the scene?

did you use super low area light quality?

I've done this so that I didn't get the panels showing through glass when using them outside windows....but I can't remember how!

I'm not on my workstation so I can't check but it's in the GI settings, I think that you need to uncheck directional rays?

I've found luminous panels to be faster and cleaner than area lights 90% of the time plus they show in reflections.
