This looks pretty cool. Other than playing with Raven, I haven't actually used these yet but I am intrigued but the idea.

These are web-based tools that load within your browser.

Peacock (http://aviary.com/tools/peacock) - Visual Labratory: A node based imaging tool for experimenting with images.
Raven (http://aviary.com/tools/raven) - Vector Editor: Like a very limited version of Freehand or Illustrator
Pheonix (http://aviary.com/tools/phoenix) - Image Editor: Like a very limited Photoshop.
Toucan (http://aviary.com/tools/toucan) - Color Palettes: A pretty cool color picker.

These are all still in beta but it's pretty cool to see what can be done in flash on a web page.

Pretty nice tools for the average person who doesn't own real tools. It is pretty cool what they can do with online apps now.

Peacock is impressive, pro or no.

Amazing. It's just beyond my comprehension how they did that in flash. On the other hand my only (and not so great) experience is with ancient flash 5.

That is some amazing stuff. Coded in Adobe Flex, I believe.

It came to my attention that all of these are free now. (http://aviary.com/blog/posts/free-online-editing)
