View Full Version : Help needed - Camera Orbit

Hello All,

I have a question that the answer is eluding me.
I wish to have a camera orbit a model in a perfect circle around it.
I have set a null so the camera is always looking at the center.
Can not remember how to attach a camera to a spline (Path) brought in from modeller.

I know I can spin the model (which has many parts/layers) also but I wanted to remember how to do it the other way.
Or is there another way or why isn't there a default camera orbit tool in Layout.

Have you tried parenting and targeting the camera to the null, then rotate the null?

If you want to follow an arbitrary curve, use motion modifier CurveConstraint on the camera.

Thats the very one.
Forgot what it was called. But as far as I can remember that is the one I used.
