Hi guys!

I'm working in one robot and it have all main parts in different layers. I'm comming from Blender, and i'm confortable with the rigging process at Blender, but since i decided to work with lightwave(for the marvelous render quality and texture effects), i'd like to make a rigging for it at lightwave, but i'm having the folowing problem. For exemple, when i try to parent the head(that is a single object in a specific layer) to a bone and try to move the bone to see if it is working, the head beggins to deform in a strange way. Can someone help me with this kind of rigging?

PS: This is the first time that i come accross a problem that i can't solve by reading this forum, since lightwave community has so mutch tuttorial and explanations regarding many of the lightwave functions and tools. For this reason this is my very first post.

I don't know a lot about rigging but maybe some of these free videos will help you a bit until someone can answer your questions:

I would parent the parts to the bones.
You might also be able to do your animation in blender and try
exporting to LW using FBX.
