Hey guys,

My modeller is activing funny when i add a surface and view it using textured wireframe, or textured, in the viewpoints. I have attached some images of what is happening..

i have tried to change all the surfaces back to default, and these random changes in the colours of the model are very frustrating to deal with. when i rotate the perspective viewpoint, or zoom, the whole model going into a frenzy of colour changes as seen below. Has anybody else had problems with this?

I am using a 17" 1.67g Powerbook.

just a guess, but should be related to the graphics card.
(assuming it's the G4 17" PB: Mobility Radeon 9700 128MB):
You could go to Layout > Layout 3D Menu > about OpenGL
and see, if this card meets the tech requirements for Multitexture or GLSL Shading.
You may have to use Multitexture or even try Legacy and maybe switch to streaming (slower) instead of VBO to find a setup that works better.
(You should try different setups).
If you are using the PPC (CFM) version, you could also try the UB, which is the better app (except you are in need of plugins, that aren't available as UB).
