Does anyone have a complete list or a best of list of the new team on Lightwave and whose doing what? I rememebr a bunch of cool plugin programers are working there now but the info is now so scattered I don't remember who.

Here is what I've gathered so far

Duece - NewTek Engineering Team - does...

lol yeah pretty short list but i can't find those other threads with the new guys working on LW.

Thanks,

j

sometimes my stuff is cool -- sometimes my stuff sucks.

Sometimes my stuff is the envy of the land.

I don't like pidgeon holing my stuff. I just need to do more stuff.

Like the stuff I'm doing now -- it's pretty cool, but it's mixed with just ordinary stuff.

Deuce, "My Stuff"

Deuce, You should write a song about it, the lyrics above already sound like Beck or Soul Asylum :D

Heheh Deuce :).

You are doing "stuff" wich aren't coll and it's boring and then proton can do cool stuff (hint - i remember siggraph strams and that character rigging in LW what proton doesn't like to do 'cot it's ain't fun :)).

I wonder what "stuff" will Deuuce do when LW8 hit streets 'coz now "even proton can rig characters" ;).

Are you trolling now? :-)

I was looking for a nice relaxing thread that might be fun and informative after all the emotions over the past week.

This might be a valid point. Just like Art Howe wearing "Blue" again at SigGraph even though he's listed on the Lux Technical consultants, might we see people like Gregory, Mark Brown or others do a little "consulting" to weave the new features, like the dynamics, into their respective legacy?

If you consider programmers like musicians, it might be like getting Eric Clapton to play lead on a few songs on your album. There's nothing wrong with that. It's about knowing who's in the studio recording the next album, that's all. The greatest asset Lightwave has is it's user base, which is very fan-like.

As much as you'd like to say it's the music, not the performers, that is important, I'd tend to disagree. It's both. The stuff and who makes it both matter.

Proton and Duece are not Kiki, but they got the right stuff to show and did a good job at SigGraph. It just would be nice to know who else is playing in the band.

The "stuff" stuff was starting to sound like George Carlin going into his "stuff" routine. That was funny...er..stuff.

Art wasn't an employee of Luxology like Gregory or Mark.

"Proton and Duece are not Kiki"

Sure ? Its all about special effects, Ya know...in M:I , Tom Cruise looks like Jon Voight, in Charlies Angels 2, Demi looks like 20...so why can Proton and Deuce not be Kiki ?
