View Full Version : ‘Never Ending Staircase’

For those that aren’t familiar with the concept it’s called the ‘Never Ending Staircase’ amongst other names. The idea is that the stairs are always going up!!?? I modelled this to see if it could be done within a 3D package and isn’t a test in textures etc hence the reason for not having any.:D
But can you work out how it’s done??:help:

Yup .. it's all about camera angle. You can see where the "bottom" of the sairs meets the "top" of the stairs because the lighting makes the top part of the stairs brighter. Do a little post work in PS or something so that the lighting is a bit more uniform and it will be spot on.

Nice modeling.

The lighting reveals where the stairs are lower...need to even it out more. the camera angle also shows the break. fix those 2 things, and It'll be really cool :)
