I just found a model on our system that was created on January 1, 1601.

Does anyone know what version of LightWave that would have been?

lol! That's awesome.

I'm guessing here... I think LW would have been called Candlelight back then... So maybe Candlelight or something?

As for the dating, maybe it has to do with the leapyear? Leapyears work on a 400 year cycle, and the last cycle was 2001, and before that 1601.

At least they had movable type in 1601. Before that, each pixel had to be hand-rendered by Dominican monks on the isle of Catmull-Clark—someone (usually an intern) would have to row out with the scene files through choppy seas in a small boat. We really dreaded client revisions in those days.
