Well, thank you NewTek and all of the development team (which is a bit of the same) for another free update! Incredible!

Ben,
Any installation tips... should dongle be lift in PC; should new sentinel drivers be installed?

Can't wait to try this - still on Lightwave 9.3!

Congrats to the dev team :lwicon:

I guess I got home a litle late. People are bangin on the server(s) pretty hard. My throughput is a blazing 60kb/s. The whole thing usually downloads in a minute or so.

What's the difference between the MAC OSX Power PC version, and the MAC OSX Universal Binary version?

Which do I get for Windows XP 32 bit?

*EDIT*
Never mind, I just saw that the Windows version is dual 32/64 bit :) thought they were separate downloads. Ignore. Move on. Nothing to see.

Quick note: The download didn't work for me under Firefox. I switched over to Internet Explorer to see if it would work, and it does. So, if anyone else has trouble, you might want to give that a try.

The Sentinal 7.4.0 drivers wouldn't install on the 32-bit side but did install on the 64-bit side. Any thoughts on how to get them installed on the 32-bit side?

Yep, thats what I ended up doing. And then I had to refresh the page for it to download. Apparently there is a bug in the download code.

So there are indeeeed more .x-es before we get to 10 :D

Now if we could just have Instancing on 9.7 as it was promised from the dev team, than we can have the wonders of 10 for desert

I get an SQL error when accessing the account page :(

Actually it's a timeout...probably due to the increased usage:

'Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.'
