I was wondering if there is some sort of render controller on the mac that will let the user add various scenes to it's que and also support load balancing. I basically want to have my machines rendering but when I'm using one of them I don't want that box to be processing unless I walk away from it.

Anyone know if such a product exists on the mac ?

Take a look at these Mac render controllers that I've used: RenderFarm Commander (http://www.brucerayne.com/renderfarm.html) and ScreamerNet Controller for Mac OS X (http://www.catalystproductions.cc/screamernet/). They don't do automatic load balancing, but you can enable/disable nodes while rendering.

For more ScreamerNet Mac information check out my white paper.
