How does one send a UV map to photoshop?

export eps (encapsulated post script) and choose Uv only, I've learned that if it is going to be a big map, instead of the 6.0 insert something around 100.

yes, that's pretty good too. I've used it a few times to. Besides some crashes, it works great. ;)

I usually maximize the UV port and just do a screen grab and crop right in Photoshop. Quick and easy. Unless I'm working on a map with a ton of detail....

hmmm, Jeffry, I always export to eps, because you get a perfect wireframe transparent layer...this way you can have it on top of other layers and paint under it, you can also apply an invert adjustment layer to turn the wires to white when the textures are dark.
it's simple to export and you don't have to edit anything in photoshop like cropping or selecting the wires only to get them transparent (I prefer to paint under the wires than over...)
