Hi guys!!!

I am currently working on an animation where an emitter is throwing particles out to bounce on a floor plane.

These particles will be replaced by cubes that once they bounce, will burst in pieces.

The first part of the animation is fine, so I have got the cubes replacing the particles, but I can not make them burst after they have bounce on the floor.

Is there any way to get all this geometry I have already in Layout to pass on to Modeller so I can unweld the polygons and make them burst?

Any idea?

As far as I know, with FXLinker you have already created that object, so the LWO file is there and you can unweld those polys.

Then, you can use HardFX on all the cloned objects to start on collision of your floor plane.

This may be too many calculations, but worth a try.
