Came across these free HDR studio setups while browsing. You can never have enough HDRs!

Not sure if someone has posted these before (too lazy to hit the search button!)

:D

This guy:

http://zbyg.deviantart.com/

Made these:

Pack 1
http://zbyg.deviantart.com/art/HDRi-Pack-1-97402522

Pack 2
http://zbyg.deviantart.com/art/HDRi-Pack-2-103458406

Then this guy:

http://forums.3dtotal.com/member.php?u=18398

Asked the author for the files to render out much bigger resolution versions.

These can be found here:
http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?p=674264

Further down in that thread someone uploaded them to RapidShare.

http://rapidshare.com/files/162333488/StudioHDR.part02.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/162334191/StudioHDR.part03.rar

Pretty cool, so thanks to these guys!

Excellent. Another addition to the library. Thanks Matt.

Edit: I don't think your sample made it. I get an "Invalid Attachment specified" error when clicking your sample pic.

I changed it, you might have clicking while I was uploading the new one!

I've already use a couple. Man, what a time saver. I've always just used luminous polys and tweaked for an hour. It's much easier to simply pick 1 or 2 HDR's and have them work out perfectly. Render time is great too. Since I pretty much only do product shots, these are great.

Thanks again.

Ok, because of my complete hate of rapidshare I've collected all of the HDRi - low med and high res ones and put them into one zip file up here (http://www.filesavr.com/studiohdri-lowmedhighres). No more waiting for stupid Rapidshare. :D

These are just the ones in the preview pic:

That's what i use Greasemonkey for, no waiting or age verification for a trailer or movie on any site.

thanks Matt

I actually produced some REAL studio HDR's...y'know, from a REAL studio and a chrome sphere but they didn't turn out great. :(

Looks like a groovy collection these guys have gathered together, thanks for the links Matt. And thanks to Jeffry for the zip. Should give me some impetus to make use of HDRIs

Cool find Matt, I've been looking for years for this kinda thing. Dosch Design (http://www.doschdesign.com/products/hdri/Chrome_Studio_Effects_V2.html) has some but they aren't great. This is perfect to get quick previews of objects and models for aproval.
Thanks a bunch for sharing and Jeff, thanks a bunch for archive.

Want to assemble a single HDR image into a sIBL (Smart Image Based Lighting) set that can be used with Blochi's lscript (version 2.2) for LightWave? Then carefully review Blochi's video for doing so:
http://www.hdrlabs.com/tutorials/sibl-edit.html

sIBL Edit can work with five view formats of HDR panorama: Long/Lat (Rectangular), Angular, Mirror Ball, C_VCross and C_HCross. Not quite Matt's concept of "zero to hero in a few mouse clicks" . . . but . . . almost.

Then take a gander at Matt's video on using the sIBL LW script:
http://www.pixsim.co.uk/lightwave_video_tutorials.html

Kudo's to both Christian Bloch and Matt Gorner. My apologies to those already in the know.

Are these HDRi's still available somewhere (the low/med/hi-res ones)?

I clicked on the link but says: "not available"
