Dear LWers,
Recently, a new museum opened for the public in Ancient Olympia under the name "The Digital Exhibition of the History of the Olympic Games in Antiquity", after a 15 month preparation. It's a project for the Hellenic Ministry of Culture funded by EU Framework. My involvement in this project was as an Art/Creative Director. We can define this Exhibition as a “digital bunch”.
The Digital Exhibition uses 14 information systems varying from classical info kiosks and PDAs to Haptic Systems, Synchronized Video Sequences, and Virtual Reality Theater.
All the 3D content for these installations was made with LW. All the 3D models were modeled by me, and then textured and baked by Babis Venetopoulos and his team. for the 3D content we've used LW 9. Also for Synchronized screens all of the 2D images of the sequence were created and rigged by LW.
If you ever come to Ancient Olympia you are welcome to visit the Digital museum. Until then here are some samples form the content, and of course critics is welcomed!!

Regards
Korolev
