Hi

Max has a feature called Adaptive degradation (if I'm wrong please correct me)...that works something like this: instead of the polygon numbers to turn to boxes (in the display options) you insert the frames per second that you want to have all the time and lightwave would degrade your meshes (visually only) to be able to mantain the number of fps you inserted.

Might be nice if you can set LOD manually. AKA- use XYZ mesh at this FPS vs. another at a higher FPS.

Or are you talking about delta driven LOD? I guess it would be a combo in the end...though the user wouldn't see that part...

Well actually you have a list of stuff that you let max 'degrade' in the viewports while your rotating, panning, etc.
