Does Newtek have any plans to compile T3 for the new 64 bit windows and Opteron chip when windows ships?

I've been reading a lot about the chip and os and they look intrigueing and powerful.

It seems like every 6 months I could buy another system!:(

I'd like to know what Newtek's planning by way of 64 bit chips too.

If you fellers' at Newtek are being silent on the Opteron because you're looking toward the Prescott, you may want to reconsider adding AMD support. AMD's Mark de Frere claims that the Athlon 64 "blows Prescott out of the water,"

Athlon 64 will launch next month with several different memory controller options. Consumers will be able to buy either the Athlon 64 with a single memory channel, or the Athlon 64 FX with dual memory channels

Intel's 90 nanometer Prescott, which should feature numerous architectural enhancements and run at very high clock speeds, obviously will be a great choice too.

We need Newtek's knockout chip level support for BOTH CPU's !!!

I don't want to be a nay sayer, but come on! 64 bits will give a 30% improvement over 32 bit. This means that all the bugs in VT[3] will happen 30% faster.

Now I suggest that we already have a system that is realtime: ...Can we work the bugs out first before we make them happen faster? PLEASE!

Just my opinion....

More platforms means more flexibility. Keep 'em up, NewTek! :D

Maybe that's when HD will really "arrive."
