Hi everyone,

Here's a tutorial my good friend, Paul, made from a tutorial that I never finished many years ago but was planning.

I wonder what that ball would look like with some fiberfx on it?

yaeh, nice methode. I'll be using that to remake the tennisballs in my picture (http://Sarford.cgsociety.org/gallery/536478/) for a animation. Thanks! Those white line on the tennisballs are now just painted in PS.

Great use of the spherize tool! I always forget about that one! Thanks for the video!

Spherize is a great tool but the drawback is that everything is reshaped to a fixed size.
Also, you can't really adjust how much spherizing you want. But, if you add it as a morph then 'apply morph' at a certain percentage, you can get the same result.

I once used this plugin to 'inflate' a character into a balloon for an animation.

Anyway, glad everyone liked the tute.

Cheers,
Revanto

Spherize is also good for making a basketball...just to smooth all the points out before you add the seam
