Anybody who can shed some light on this please do. I know they have plugins for maya and max, what about a lightwave plugin? From what I understand and I could be wrong, it's used for realtime shading n the viewports? anyone?

thanx.

LightWave was actualy the first to have this back in 5.0. They called it RengerGL. But it was tied to a specific card and relied on that manufacturer to develop it so it died. I really hope they add hardware rendering!!!

CG is different than RenderGL. CG is a realtime shading language.
XSI also has CG. Download the XSI experience demo to see what it does. It is 153 meg download however.:D
