View Full Version : Color Tool: Hue scalar question.

If I plug a blue color into the Color Tool and rotate the hue 180 degrees I get yellow. If I plug a scalar into the hue it needs a value of approximately 3.15 to get the same shade of yellow. Can somebody explain why this 3.15 value would be the equivalent of 180 degrees?

3.15 = pi, i.e 3.14 truncated to 2 decimal digits.

What you plug converts degrees to radians

Aaah, of course! Damn, wish I'd payed more attention to math at school. It's really necessary when dealing with nodes. Thanks Panikos!
