Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this?

I've tried using something I found called H3TExporter.p to create the necessary 'opengl es' file but I think development stopped for that plugin at LW7 as it won't load in v9.x.

Is there currently a solution for generating opengl es files from Lightwave?

There is no such thing as "OpenGL ES" format.

The iPhone is using 3d accelerator from a company called Imagination Technologies. They have their own format for storing/reading 3d meshes which is used by their SDK ( .pod)
They also have some tools for exporting geometry & animation from Maya, 3dMax as well as a generic tool for creating pod meshes out of collada files.


Now, remember this is just an sdk which means they basically offer libraries for programmers to load and display .pod files but that's about it.


There is no explicit Lightwave exporter provided by themů. I do have one cause I wrote one but at this point it is proprietary and I cannot release it.
