Hi All

I've posted this before but due to our website redesign and server switch, all the video tutorials, Lscripts and scene files I posted were removed.

So I'm going through and re-uploading all the useful stuff, starting with my Set Scale script.

This time around however there will be a video tutorial accompanying each script.

For those that don't know, this script allows you to scale imported plans or geometry (2D or 3D) to a known dimension, by selecting two points, running the script and entering the known value. It also has some handy options for choosing which axis to measure and scale from.

Hope you find it useful.

Cheers
Matt

Nice, I have one similar. ( much simpler though )

Mine has an option to use either of the two selected points as a scale centre, so I'll throw that out as an idea. :)

I've said it on other threads where this lscript has come up, but I'll say it again...it's a great plug-in and much appreciated!

Thanks Matt.

I use it all the time but didn't know where it came from, I think I just got it off flay.

BTW. you have your modeller windows laid out similar to me, I have numeric, stats then layers down the right side...hoorah for large monitors!

Finally added a feature I meant to add ages ago. Only a minor thing, but some might find it useful.

v1.3:

The 'Scale Centre' now has a 'Selection' option, which will use the initial selection bounding box as the scale center.

Hope someone finds that useful.

Cheers
Matt

Best Lscript comment I have ever seen .........................."There is no geometry to work with, get creative and make some!"

Matt, the links on your post #1 (video & v1.2) are not working for me, but the later posting link (v1.3) is.

No video needed: Sorry, I just looked at the readme and . . . its a decent LS . . . simple to use . . . for me it will be of use in special situations

Thankyou
