Does anybody have an LScript or plug-in to submit shots to Rush from inside LW?

I made an AE javascript that auto-fills in the important information for Rush and I'd like one for Lightwave.

Anybody interested in a trade? :)

Do you have a link for Rush? I am not familiar with it.

I met Rush in person a few years ago, ...well, only Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Niel Peart wasn't available. I'm guessing that isn't the Rush you are speaking of though.

I believe he is reffering more specifically to this (http://books.google.ch/books?id=yDx48BIOYyUC&pg=PT7&lpg=PT7&dq=rhythm+light+rush&source=bl&ots=86cAWVHkrJ&sig=ozSucGcsx-deKZ2zts---WgN16g&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=3&ct=result#PPP1,M1).

Could also be this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mwiURyX2B4).

Living on a lighted stage
Approaches the unreal
For those who think and feel
In touch with some reality
Beyond the gilded cage

.. clearly about the interface between progressive rock and 3D animation (from the aptly named album - Moving Pictures).

Are you sure he didn't mean this?

Although I can't see why anyone would want him in LightWave. :D

In our famous OT way... I'm happy to see that there are some RUSH (the band) fans here!

NOBODY (except maybe Rush) will ever make an album like 2112 again.

That's not necessarily a bad thing :neener:

Just to keep things on topic (not the original one though :D )...anyone remember the band 'A'?...They're from here and the singer, Jason, was almost in tears once at a party because someone threw his 2112 LP in the pool. He kept saying, 'Geddy can't swim!'...still makes me chuckle 15yrs later.

[EDIT] Gee, thanks archijam, now I've got to set my amp up and play YYZ when I should be working!

Did you happen to see RUSH perform on the Colbert Report? They were great and it was a very funny show. They were the first band he had on.

I haven't enjoyed the newer albums any where as much as I love the older ones.

+1
First concert I went to was 2112. I was amazed at all the video and animation work that was played during their last show (Snakes and Arrows).

Sorry for adding OT.

But yes, I'm talking about this.

The Rush band is cool. Here's my contribution to the Rush band thread.

I bet that you wouldn't get this kind of OT rambling in a Max, Maya, XSI, Houdini...thread when someone mentions a prog-rock band from the 70's....those trendy folk with their emo and trance!:D

...this is a video of RUSH (http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/cc_insider/2008/07/rush-plays-rock.html) playing with Rock Band playing one of their own songs before the Colbert show. (http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/176346/july-16-2008/rush-is-here)

That's pretty funny.
Man, I can't believe how old Alex looks now. He looks like my dad did when he was 60. ;)

Reading up on Rush render queue software, it looks like a very nice render controller. Beauty, eh.

I've seen them in concert 3 times now, always a favorite
