Making a hole in a logo imported from Illustrator
Issue:
I imported an eps logo from illustrator. Upon import, the
holes in the letters are not holes anymore.
How can I make hole in the existing shapes of the logo before I extrude the logo?
Please advise.
If there is a tutorial for this, please let me know.
Thanks and best regards,
Anthony Ferrara

Try checking the "Auto AxisDrill" button box when importing.

Personally I always drill my own holes since AutoAxis Drill doesn't always work. When you import an EPS logo, the "holes" should be brought in as well, so just select them, paste them to another layer (or use speed boolean), give them a bit of depth and boolean subtract them from the outers.
