Ahh. Apparently it's not available in the UK..

The files were all there, I just had to defrag the hard drive!

...Really cool to see behind the scenes LW stuff, though. Is Eden FX an all Lightwave house or do they render/animate in something else?

That's so annoying. It's not like the program isn't on in the UK [it is].

My wife's a big fan of the show and I wanted to show her some fx from it.

=[

YouTube can be easily tricked into displaying the videos in all countries by altering the URL a bit, for example instead of the regular url - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNIQUEVIDEOID, access http://www.youtube.com/v/UNIQUEVIDEOID (here UNIQUEVIDEOID is a unique 11 character video id code of the particular video).

Found the info from here (http://www.megaleecher.net/Bypass_YouTube_Country_Restriction), it's worth a try. I thought there was a Firefox extension that allowed you to bypass this too, but I can't find it now.

Try that, it loaded with a different player for me (weird) but it's being redirected by a US server's proxy, so it should work.

EDIT: Er, it looks like it's detecting that link is coming from an outside site, so after you click that, copy and paste http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChRW29VltSA in the box and hit surf.

Use Ultrasurf. It is free and works almost all the time. It was the only way for me to watch this video. It doesn't work fine for me with Firefox but with IExplorer works fine.

That was really cool. That sounded like allot of imagination and creativity went into that. I love virtual worlds...especially if I can create it myself.:D Love the green screen challenges.

Not available in my country, and the show airs over here.

<RANT>
I refuse to jump through hoops to just view a friggin making off, i don't care if it's ILM or some small indie post house, they are just adding to the frustrations over restrictions.

Why don't these idiots get the meaning of the world wide web, it's in the fing name, either post it for everyone to see, or don't post it at all.

I thought I would be able to see online episodes of CSI with this trick, but it doesn't work.
Anyone knows how to do this maybe?
Anyway I can watch youtube. Nice video.

Again, when you can't watch a site for that stupid restrictions try this.

http://www.ultrareach.com/

It is free.

You run it and it opens Internet Explorer and try the sites that restricts country. And you close the program and it automatically closes internet explorer window. This is the best way to close it, cause it changes the proxy in internet explorer and when you finish it restores ie to its default settings.

brrrr...internet explorer...i guess one would be better off just installing TOR and a Firefox tor add-on.

Wish I would have been there to help out with the animations. I would have said, "hey, I have LW 9.5, when do I start work?" They would have said, "WOW, you have LW 9.5??? Name your price." LOL:D:D Then I wake up from my dream but still....

You mean in the real, serial, virtual, turned real, world, right?

Have to say the story premise was lame, but the LW work looked effective. You know you're a nerd when you laugh at a guy saying he defragmented a mac ...
