View Full Version : Eyeballing fun.....

Thought I'd do better I have to admit :grumpy:

10-13-2008, 06:17 AM
Yeah Iain, you were rubbish :D

10-13-2008, 07:12 AM
Overall score 7.49. Not too good, but not horrible.

10-13-2008, 07:22 AM
Hehe I got 4.13 which was not too bad, but it's annoying when you see where it was supposed to be and where you put it hehehe

10-13-2008, 09:08 AM
3,2 but I thought to be more precise...

10-13-2008, 09:08 AM
2.94 :)

Must be all that AutoCad and pencil drafting.

10-13-2008, 09:28 AM
1.31 It's that third eye I bring out on occasion. :)

10-13-2008, 09:39 AM
3 tries. 3.26 is my best, so far. 5.71 the worst.

tHREEL, but you can call me AL.

10-13-2008, 09:55 AM
2.68 here

10-13-2008, 10:27 AM
3.97 on the first runthrough

10-13-2008, 10:33 AM

Yikes that's not natural!

The best I got after 3 attempts was 4.0 8/

10-13-2008, 10:53 AM
Yeah, I got down to 4. something after a few practice runs but 1.31. That's pretty darn good. The equidistant triangles ones always get me.

10-13-2008, 10:59 AM
Second and third tries ran me 1.32 and 1.15. The parallelograms were the hardest. The equidistant triangles were tough too. Converging the bisecting angles helped out with that though. Can't do it again though as now all 3 of my eyes hurt. :)

10-13-2008, 12:22 PM
Second try = 1.96

I'm really starting to wonder why I didn't go into drafting or engineering.

Now I know why I didn't go in to engineering.

10-13-2008, 01:39 PM
Just tried again and got a .9

I'm in the wrong business.......

Wow, that's a fantastic score CMT.

I fail the intelligence part of that test by not realizing that you could alter your selection before releasing the mouse button.

Updated score: 3.18

I have a feeling I'll be playing this for a while.

10-13-2008, 04:17 PM
1st attempt 3.39
2nd attempt.. 3.39

I'm nothing if not consistant

10-13-2008, 04:51 PM
4.17, crash and burn, thank God for snap's

10-13-2008, 05:05 PM
3.0 on first try, but got worse afterwards. Agree with Hrgiger, the equidistant triangle..... not so good. I had trouble with the circle center as well. Go figure. Yet another migraine inducing puzzle.

Thanx Iain! :D

10-13-2008, 05:20 PM
Actually, now that I'm visualizing the center of the circle touching the sides, I'm better with the equidistant triangles. The ones I'm really sucking at are the bisecting the angles. I did just get my first 0 on one of the tasks though.

10-13-2008, 05:42 PM
Thanks for sharing Iain.

3.02 for my first attempt.

10-13-2008, 06:01 PM
Larger monitors probably help.

10-13-2008, 06:04 PM
2.48 first try, and I had two instances where I got 0.0. :D

2.30 second try, and once again I was able to get a 0.0 on finding the center of a circle. ;D

10-14-2008, 01:55 AM
Larger monitors probably help.

Yes. Yes that's it. It's my dodgy monitor. Need to get a new one now anyway-my scale rule and protractor are scratching it.

10-14-2008, 02:14 AM
I got 3.84 but that was on my 12" Mac Book using the track pad. I think I would do better with the wacom tablet and 22" monitor..... and some sleep

10-14-2008, 02:20 AM
2.91, just one try.

Tzan - I agree - it's the AutoCAD training.

That parallelogram nailed me! I was off by 11.7!

10-14-2008, 02:50 AM
I got a pretty poor 6-ish the first go, but I think that may have been down to not understanding the "point of convergence" task the first time round, with a whopping 19 error. Did it again today, and got a more respectable 3.8

10-14-2008, 03:08 AM
First go, doing it quite quickly got me: 3.58, I got the centre of the dead on one of the tries, that was the easier one though!

10-14-2008, 06:14 AM
Try it again, but click instead of dragging .. much harder ;)
