Hi All,
I am a new lightwave user

I have a problem I am working on a bottle, and modeling the main body, but there's curves on the top and bottom of the bottle I can't sucess to model. is Bump map is suitable to solve this problem?
I need help!

See attached file.

A bump map or displacement map would probably be the easiest way of doing that.

If you feel like taking on subpatches you could just create the groves and apply a twist to them.

Well I agree about mapping. Subpatces can be done but it is more involved technically on that end and it is a challenge to do it with a clean mesh.

But however yo go bout it, with polys even. Just make groves and then use the twist tool. I am not sure how you would do the image. But it might be a cleaner look for you.
