that's very nice, william, but it doesnt seem to work in 9.5. is this an OB thing? (or is there supposed to be a special parameter turned on?)

Cool, just tried it!

Unless I have missed it somehow and it is all ready in Layout somewhere, is there a way to gridsnap models? Could be useful when using Layout as a level editor (i.e. for Unity or ShockWave).

This is a brilliant feature/timesaver. :)

You can imagine how many times I had to either cut & paste XYZ positions or
Turned off PinP - did a parent then turned on PinP and unparented.

where's grid snapping? next version have not yet?

This is a very nice feature and makes rigging much faster. :thumbsup: The old way of doing this was to manually parent with "parent in place" off and then unparent with "parent in place" turned on.
