I am using the tree that comes with the content in LW in an animation and the leaves seem to be blowing in the wind. It wouldn't be a problem if it didn't seem to be blowing so hard. Anyone know how to stop this?

Close you window?..........

Objects it self can't contain animation. Try importing the object only...

Unwanted Wind in my trees. Wasn't that a song sung by Bette Midler?

What scene in the content are you referring to? Have you looked at the wind properties?

Thanks.

It wasn't a scene it was just the tree object and loaded into a scene I designed. I don't know why it is animating.

Holy tree shlt Batman ... He's done it! He's found the EASY ANIMATE BUTTON! Please tell us you remember where you found it...

Man, I wish my models would just "animate themselves" ... :D

3DGFXStudios, I didn't set it up to animate. I just Loaded it as an object by itself. I checked all the envelopes in the surfaces panel. None are on. Then I rendered it for 60 frames. Still blowing.

The only way I can imagine saving "animation" with an object is if it has one of the inherently moving procedurals, like Ripples somewhere. In a clip map? No, that isn't saved with the object. Same with displacements. Transparency channel?

Or is geometry actually moving? Easy enough to set up, but I can't imagine how it could get accidentally turned on!
