I set up some blueprints for a Ford Mustang I am trying to model. But when I saved, exited, and came back the next day, the model was there but the blueprints were gone. How can I save the backgrounds along with the model?

Thay don't save with the model. You have to load them up separately.

What if I resized the pictures when they were a background? Do I need to rescale them again?

Hi Luke,

After you get your backdrops positioned and sized the way you want them, go to Display Options (d). Pick the Backdrop tab. Click on Presets, and Save All Backdrops, or Save Current Backdrop.

The next time you get into your model, you will not see any backdrops, but all you have to do is go to Display Options, click on the Backdrop tab, click on the Presets button, and pick Load Backdrop. Find your backdrop file and load it. That should get you to where you want to be, without reloading, and/or resizing your backdrop images.

tHREEL, but you can call me AL.

You can also adjust the resolution of the backdrop there as well. Makes seeing fine detail much easier.

Also if you make a polygon of the bounding area you want your image and click automatic size it will snap to the area of the polygon. A great way to have instant scaling.
