View Full Version : Special Buffers for Hypervoxels?

Hey everyone...

I want to get some hot particles in some scenes to glow as they fall, but I can't figure out how to give them a Special Buffer to apply glow or bloom or something like that...

How can I get just the particles to be processed rather than everything in a scene?

You can try using partigons and they should have their own surface. You can also fxlink an object with its own distinct surface to the particles.

why not just a separate render pass?

Larry, thanks for that. Have had a quick look into partigons and that may well be the way forward.

Would love to do a render pass, but don't have time to set it up, and get a z-depth pass outta LW (I'd have to suss that out too) so I can composite behind a lot of scene elements. However, if this does prove the be the best option later on, I'll give it a shot.
