Was there a way to make Nodal textures visible in OGL?

I am getting tired looking through the manual. Does anybody know?

No, that's a known (and unfortunate) limitation of the current system.

My hope is that this will be updated / addressed in v10. I don't think we'll see this happen in v9.x. Not like I have any inside info... just a guess.

It better be. At least to a certain degree (I'm not expecting a SS equivalent in the openGL viewport).

I doubt that as well. Imho it would require a bit of a re-design of the system (under the hood) to work properly, especially if you take third parties into account as well (case in point: GLSL support for certain NT authored texture layers only).
