hey all,
i've got this charater rigged up with bones, i also have a few of the same set of bones doing actions, like running, walking, jumping, etc etc,as objects. so how would i go about making the character follow one of these actions? i tried just setting the character mesh to use the other bones but the mesh never moved. I hope that makes sense!

Check that the bones don't have weights assigned that aren't in the new object: this is virtually the only way I can think of that it shouldn't work for you.

If the mesh is activated in motion designer, it won't respond to bones .. go to motion designer and either disable it, or hit the start button so it will read the new bone movements.
