These are a few small requests and would probably be really easy to impliment, but then again im no engineer.

regarding edges It would be cool if each edge type could have its own color.

I would also like to see a "part" border edge line. That would give one more level of control, and make it easier to keep one surface but define lines within that surface without haveing to have a duplicate surface. I know there are ways around this but sometimes it would seem easier especially if your mapping a texture on to that surface and it sucks to have to set up new maps just to outline something.

I use the surface border edge to outline things like pockets on celshaded characters.

Also, a new edge mode called "SubPatch Edges". It would be great if you could render nice clean quad wireframes from SubD objects (like Modellers "Wireframe Shade" preview mode) instead of getting all the tripled/frozen poly edges.

that would be sweet!

ive actually done screengrabs for that wire look and played around in photoshop but I Really like that idea.
