View Full Version : Object Sequence - Surfacing

I am beginning to play around with Real Flow 4. It has the cabability to export it's simulations as LWO's. However when I bring in the LWO sequence in layout the default surfacing is not what I want. So when I change the surfacing for the object, it works, but then I have to manually go through each and every LWO file and make the same changes.

Is there a script, surface shader, something that will help make these changes to the SEQUENCE rather than the object? How do people work with obj sequences and make refinements to the surfacing?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

A master lscript, to load a surface file for each object
in an object sequence, render or preview, don't work with LWSN,
but if you select the Save option, run a preview in Layout,
it will save all objects with the new surface,
Tested on PC only,
(Mac need some changes in path inside the code)

So I can load up this LScript Master Plugin.
Load an object sequence
Make any appropriate changes to a surface.
Save those changes as a SRF file
Tell the Master plugin what surface file to use, and what surface to change
Render or Make Preview
Save all Objects

Is that basically the steps? Sounds interesting. Thanks so much. I will check it out.
