9.5 just says a fatal error has occured and simply shuts down when adding or editing textured environment as a backdrop.

Tried using the new bug report system and got a message saying 'server not found', very helpful.

Already tried adding the plugins again, no joy.

Any ideas?

Yup, win XP pro sp3 32 bit, just reinstalled Lightwave and rescanned all the plugins and the problem's gone away, but it'll come back (always does).

I get the same, but I was waiting until I heard someone else with the same occurance, thought it might have just been me. It will work fine if it is already in the scene, but trying to add or edit it, and it crashes. V 9.5

So is this something Newtek are aware of but just can't do anything about?

Andrew,

Tried it here. No problem. Both in a pre-constructed scene or froma fresh one. Both Win32/Win64.

It's inconsistent to say the least Matt, I've had periods of up to two weeks without any issues, then whamo, crash time and when I open it up again, the same thing.

Have you got a scene where it's reproducable consistantly?

Nope, comes and goes Matt, if I find one I'll upload it for you.
