Hey all, I've currently got Lightwave 9.0 installed and am wondering how to upgrade to say 9.5.1
Have seen the the developer files on the new tek site but seem a little confusing
Any help would be good

Easy peasy, download and install, I tend to run them in parallel with shortcuts using the '-c' parameter in different locations.
As a user of 9.0 - you of course get 9.5 free of charge.
In order to get the very latest builds though, you'd need to join the open beta program.

Thanx Great..Um how do I join the beta program?

Go to the top of the NewTek page>Registration

Then log in
In the drop down list, select "LightWave v9.5 Open Beta"
Shortly thereafter, I believe you will get an email about the beta, but, you should be able to download it from your downloads section, as well. Don't forget to get your serial from the product page, under registration as well.

Nearly, he missed out a step. When you login to your account, if you haven't signed up for the beta, you will see two banners on the left hand side. In between there's a little text link saying "Join the LightWave Open Beta program here" or similar. Click that link and read through the material there first.

How do you get a revised lic.? I just loaded 9.5.1 and it only has 6 days.

You wait until those six days are nearly up and you check your account for a new key.
