View Full Version : Exporting graphics

So in Tricaster I'd like to see a way of exporting the graphics from the CG. Say I make a lower third and I want to bring that into photoshop after my show add something else to it and add this new title into another NLE on a Mac.
I noticed if you have "LIVE TEXT". You can "save as" .png

So why not have this file extension in tricaster w/o live text, when you open up CG program?

Or at least additional options, like PSD or others as "save as" file types that can preserve the alpha channels.

Need a Tricaster. See Maryland's number one dealer.

I completely agree. The only workaround I have cometo is exporting via flash or quicktime in the editor. We have a seperate video channel for repeated text announcements and the graphics I make in the tricaster would be perfect for this.

Try using "Export for Live" - then look for the 32bit PNG file in D:\Media\CGs (motion pages will result in a SpeedHQ AVI with alpha).

The TriCaster saves .PNG files as this file format supports 32 bits as well as interlace.

Photoshop can load and save as .PNG's so where's the issue?
