Thanks for creating the tutorials! Will they get added to the official Lightwave training videos page?

Yes, thank you for making really in depth and easy to understand tutorials. I've seen other tutorials by other people and many times they fumble through stuff or forget to tell us why something is used or just click on something without an explanation. I like William's tutorials because they are clear, explained well, and man does it help me! Thanks again William for helping all of us understand something that would otherwise take months or years to grasp from a manual. :D

Holy smokes, thanks William!

Downloaded all. Can't wait to watch them at lunchtime.

I had early successes with FiberFX. I loved the tools and the renders and how quick they were. Then someone challenged me to do a head of hair, and things started to break on me. Lots and lots of crashes. I assume there are just some things you aren't supposed to do, and hopefully some of those are documented in these videos or somewhere else.

I can't wait to use the tool in anger!

Hey William,

I just watched all of the videos, amazing! I have a problem though with the grass video. It is nice and fast on such a small area, what if I would like to make a soccerfield (120m x 60m) with nice short grass?

Greetings,
Sigurd

Try it out. ;)

Edit: Oops, I'd use FFX instancing for that, btw.

Instancing and you wouldnt need that dense a patch for entire field...could drive a gradient to have it distance to camers so it would be good looking in front of camera at all times

As always, the tutorials are much appreciated. I'm looking forward to playing with the fibers and seeing what kind of animated look I can get.

Thanks Will!

Yes, thanks a lot, William! I've gotten so that I prefer video tutorials to print ones, and these are very helpful.
