Has anyone noticed how 'light incidence" is broken in 9.5?

Can you reproduce the errors? Do you have any example scenes and objects?

Just take a Light Info node, choose your light, and plug the Direction output into a Dot Product node (Math > Vector) along with the Normal output from a Spot Info node. Now plug output from the Dot Product into a Gradient input, or whatever you want.

Is that the workaround or the reproduction of the bug? :)

Actually, hasn't "light incidence" in the Gradient Node been a feature request for a while? If not lets ask for it!

Its being very dodgy for me. I set up an earth that had nightlights turn on as the sunlight left the surface, and it worked great for that scene. BUT as soon as i start adjusting the rotation or the light around it doesnt hold up. Its getting pretty frustrating, im gonna try the nodal suggestion now hopefully that works =(
