Can anyone recommend a good website for sound effects for animation (pay site is fine)? I've had a look at Sounddogs.com and it looks OK but I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's used it or who can give advice on other sources. Thanks.

Aside from awesome AE tutorials, videocopilot.net has a good soundfx collection. I used it for several occasions and it always turned well, despite of fact i'm no sound person whatsoever :)

If you are looking for highest quality sound effects for a commercial production - you should think about hiring an experienced sound guy. Sound design is not just putting sound effects together. There are many other things to do with sound for video to make it great and proper for cinema/youtube/tv etc.

I am an audio designer:) If you need good sound for your projects - maybe I could help.

It depends on project and number of hours spent.

But always on budget;)
