Is it possible to export maya nurbs spline in any format readable by lw? I need to model a car but the spline was made in maya by somebody else.

worst case scenario, you extrude the curve into a surface and then convert to a polys... then at least you can trace the vertices of the edge that represents the curve you extruded.

Just to share some info. The freelance guy was able to export the splines in maya 2008 to dxf. So from dxf its easy to import to any app including lw. The splines are clean and worked like lw splines. I started modelling it.
