Incredible. Very nice modeling, surfacing, and rendering. Could we see a wireframe of this beauty? Is the blue duotone done in post?

Great work. No revamps needed.

Very nice.

My only comment is that it looks like it's in flight but the propeller has stopped. I guess that's only weird after you notice there's no pilot.;)

Forget about the still propellor - there's no pilot! Absolutely great image though.

Arai,

What's your techninque for the whethered appearence on the plane. It's pretty believeable.

well I guess my technique is to observe real life, and then paint everything by hand in photoshop. Pay attenion to things like diffuse and spec maps and how a surface will react to light. is it dirt, making the specular darker but need something in the bump channel or is it grease which would be more shiney and have possible reflective qualities etc...

really pay attention to what it is your texturing and know your object, is that grease/oil leaking from that panel or is it carbon build up from heat scoring coming off the .50 calibers etc. AFter that its just painting in photoshop to get what your looking for.

Gorgeous!
I made a model of that when I was a kid (scale plastic, that is) -- it was one of my favorites.

You really nailed this one! The weathering and wear are nicely balanced. Great job! How much time did you spend on it?
