hi mis,

i havent seen your demoreel yet but it could be because of the big size of the files people dont download it.

how long is the demoreel and what resolution?..

Nice reel!

I got some comments :) ...

Some very original touches (such as the outro which is 1/3 of the reel ;) ).. I would have cut the less sexy clips a little in length and focussed on the others - the glasses and cross figure are nicely executed, but are not scenes to stare at for a long time.

May I ask what sort of work you are wanting to do? The reel is such an 'all rounder' affair that was not exactly clear.

A few english errors if you want to correct them:

Imagine a world where dreams become (not becomes) reality ..

And the last sentence in the thanks would be 'has left the stage'.

I only mention this in case you want to correct it, I always like the discrepancies in language (you should see my dutch or german) ..

Cracked up that you match up 'A WORLD' with a flash of an eared butt. Classic.

the file size is 130 mb or so and i take it that not that meny people
are running on k56 modem anymore :) now that people are starting
to get fiber connections with between 15-40+ megabit per second

the resolution is 800x480 and its about 4,5 minutes long including end text and greetings to the nation :)

thanks for the checkup

the length of the clips is timed up to the steps in the music
and the tempo of it whats what have set the length for me in general
i have a few spellings yes i have been notified of that

english isnt my native and i am dyslexic but i live with it so far

reguarding my 3D well, ime not the animator type
so i dont run around and do huge character animations and stuff
but ime more of a soft guy like nice detailed still images or soft views like say
the armarni bottle and simular.

animation have never been my strongest force
i tent to get a billion keys and way to much time inbetween wich ends up
like everything i animate seems like its in Slowmotion
so somthing in my brain is messing up my timing :)

you do know the turm (butt with ears) where you come from ?
or is that a total local thing

All good.

Loved the intro by the way!

A butt with ears ... let me think ...

No. At least not from my (relatively sheltered) corner of Australia.

I don't have fiber but it took me about 3min. on my 8mbps line. Had an average d/l speed of ~500kb/s.

Mis, nice work. You've got a bit of vertigo with focus pulls which look great (t-rex shot specifically). The modeling, texturing, and lighting all look good.

This is my personal opinion, there are no rights/wrongs to this tho. I would have cut it a little quicker to that music and would probably have lost the ramp in speed of the camera trucking on each shot. It could just cut to camera at full speed. To me, the music pace seems higher than the video cuts, not out of sync, just not the same pace. The rotating car is a nice pace, but that's the slowest I would have set with that music.

Overall nice job and I like Rob Dougan as well.
