Hello all,

Suffice to say I'm getting *majorly* pissed with this ScreamerNet bug where you send scenes to render and they refuse to load properly if they have all that SpreadSheetBanks crap at the start.

Does anyone know, or have the ability to write, a little applet that you can feed scene files too that will clean out all this crapola automagically and let us get on with our jobs?

If I understand you correctly, there would be something in the scene file or the plugin config files that you want removed... You could easily use some search and replace ASCII text tool to do that... Since these are just text files...

Just let it search for "sliderbankswhatever" and replace it with "" (nothing, nada, etc.)...

Most of these tools scan whole directories and apply these changes to all files specified and some can be used with batch files or scripted, etc....

You could use it with anything you would like replaced actually, paths in scene files... parameters... go crazy... ;)

Here (http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=replace+text&tg=dl-2001) is a nice selection from download.com
